Gotham Steel and Me

I have neither communicated with, nor had any reason to communicate with, the manufacturer of Gotham Steel products or any of its distributors. I do not receive any form of compensation for endorsing this product.

I love my Gotham Steel cookware! On the recommendation of my sister-in-law, I asked my husband for a set for Christmas 2016 to replace my (increasingly heavy, back-breaking) Cooks anodized aluminum cookware. After three back surgeries, I have a low tolerance for anything that makes my lumbar region protest. I looked them over while on a shopping trip and they were very light, although rather cheap-looking, and I questioned whether I really wanted this. My brother and sister-in-law both raved about these pots and pans, how easy they were to cook with and clean up, and how nothing ever stuck to them. Knowing my husband, I figured he would forget that I asked anyway…but lo and behold, there they sat under the tree Christmas morning. Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, I offered to cook breakfast and he accepted. I washed the frying pans and proceeded to verify what my brother told me. It was true! Later that day, I dragged the Cooks out of their drawer and replaced them with my newfound best friends.

Of course, I couldn’t stop there. Having become a believer in Gotham Steel cookware, I added:

I’m sure I’m not done yet…now that I’ve retired I cook every day, and every day I think of some new gadget I’d like to have (eyeing the indoor smokeless grill 😉 ).
